About Caren Lee
Caren Lee
Caren Lee Cares was founded by Caren Lee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Geriatric Care Manager. She has more than 17 years of experience working with the senior adult population. Her professional background as a scholarly practitioner includes work at nonprofits, hospitals, state, and private agencies.
Caren’s skill in advising and evaluating the needs of older adults, acquired through over 10,000 hours of home visit assessments and clinical experience within NYC’s Aging Network, helped build her qualifications as a leader in Geriatric Care Management. She facilitates support groups for caregivers, provides risk assessments, care planning, and information on public benefits access.
Noteworthy among her skills is the care in which she delivers geriatric support and advice to her clients. She maintains strict confidentiality, while strategically opening the lines of communication and trust within the family circle, especially during stressful and difficult times of decision or change.
Caren is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the Silver School of Social Work at New York University. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from Delaware State University; a Master of Social Work from New York University; and a Geriatric Case Management certificate from Hunter College, Center for Healthy Living.
“A vision without execution is just a hallucination,” are words by Thomas Edison that embodied her focus on helping clients develop a customized plan to be successful in managing the care of aging loved ones.
Caren Lee Cares provides an affordable, holistic approach to aging. Schedule a consultation today to see how I can help you navigate these difficult times with compassion, confidence, and quality care.
